Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to service clinical and facility equipment across multiple sites in the Central Zone, including the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Engineering, the Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, testing, and performance verification of a wide range of clinical and facility-based equipment used throughout healthcare environments.
Working both independently and collaboratively with clinical staff, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the Equipment Maintenance Technician provides technical expertise, supports equipment evaluations and commissioning activities, and helps ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and available for patient care.
This position provides service coverage to multiple healthcare facilities and requires regular travel between sites. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

$33.81 - $34.92 Hourly
