MNP Community & Sport Centre in Calgary is seeking an Equipment & Maintenance Specialist for 5-6 hours per week. You will support the Fitness Manager, perform preventative maintenance, handle minor repairs, and help with equipment upkeep to ensure a legendary customer experience.
Ideal candidates have relevant education, leadership experience, and CPR/First Aid certifications to be completed within 3 months. Flexible days, with opportunities for call-ins, are available.

Role:As an integral part of Fitness and Training Team, the Equipment & Maintenance Specialist is responsible for providing technical and operational support, while working closely with the Fitness Coordinator & Fitness Manager. Legendary Service, Safety, Excellence, and Innovation are key requirements of the role. They will be self-starter and intrinsically driven individual who inspires a high level of safety standards in the fitness department and has the capability to implement changes based on a business needs, while ensuring a legendary experience for our customers.
This role is 5-6 hours per week with opportunity for call-ins falling between Monday through Friday (flexible days) based on equipment and repair needs, with a key focus on preventative maintenance on all fitness equipment, minor repairs using existing in-stock parts, reupholsters and tracking repair/maintenance.
