Ronnoco Sales Limited is a growing distributor and installer of lubrication equipment into the automotive, heavy duty and industrial markets and we are currently seeking an Equipment Installer / Service Technician.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Installer / Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and servicing of lubrication equipment into the automotive, heavy duty and industrial markets. This role requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Equipment Installer / Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :

  • Assisting in the installation of lubrication equipment
  • Trouble shoot and perform repairs on customer equipment both at the job site or at the shop.
  • Operate mechanical equipment (i.e. pipe threader, cut off saw, drill)
  • Operate Scissor lift, forklift
  • Inventory management of installation materials for job site
  • Work independently without supervision.
  • Clearly communicate completed tasks by means of completion of paperwork and communication with scheduler.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices at all times to help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Scissor lift and ladder work is required
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined and experienced with small hand tools
  • Must be safety oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow employees
  • Job Type

    Full time – must be willing to work a forty-hour week plus regular overtime.Must be available for overnight travel.

    Duties

  • Assist in installation of lubrication equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to identify problems
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on customer equipment both at the job site or at the shop.
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs performed.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
  • Collaborate with scheduler and other technicians.
  • Inventory management of installation and repair materials
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices at all times to help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Operate mechanical equipment (ie. pipe threader, cut off saw, drill)
  • Operate scissor lift, forklift
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Experience

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Installer / Service Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined and experienced with small hand tools
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and safety oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required for travel between job sites.
  • Training

  • In-house and on-site training for job specific applications.
  • Continuous renewal of job specific licenses. (i.e. Forklift)
  • Dependent on work ethic, experience and knowledge.Includes Health Benefit package
