Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations and assist technicians, sales staff, and other personnel. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork while enabling growth through development programs.

Key duties include inspecting equipment, loading and unloading, demonstrating equipment to customers, and driving a delivery truck. Excellent customer service and diligent adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multitasking and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load/unload rental equipment and prepare for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment; drive delivery truck as needed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
