Prairie North Co-op is hiring an Equipment Sales Rep at our Agronomy Centre in Melfort, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager, the Equipment Sales Rep provides expert advice and consults with producers on ag equipment. The Equipment Sales Rep will develop customer relationships, keep up to date with current market trends as well as product knowledge and practices. This position will focus on customer relations while supporting the overall growth, sales, and profitability of the site. Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Customer contact to generate leads and create sales
  2. Ensure an acceptable level of service is provided, and a professional image is portrayed
  3. Understand local producer needs and offer company product and services to optimize agricultural output
  4. Help attain the agro equipment sales budget, gross margin, and budgeted inventory levels
  5. Promote high level customer satisfaction and develop relationships through trust, service, and integrity
  6. Successfully cross sell other areas of the ag business
  7. Aid in the coordination, set up, and delivery of farm equipment products

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:

  1. Background in agriculture with 3-6 years sales-based role
  2. You have experience leading customer contact with a proven record in relationship development
  3. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
  4. Class 5 Drivers License
  5. Must be willing to travel to various Ag locations throughout Prairie North
