About the Position :

RWDI is seeking an EPR - Green Accountant to join the Stewardship / GHG / CSR Delivery team in our London office.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to apply their education in a meaningful, sustainability-focused role.

The role includes but is not limited to :

  1. Executing green accounting processes for high-profile clients across North America.
  2. Maintaining attention to detail while focusing on client needs and the bigger picture.
  3. Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships; exceeding expectations and reporting milestones.
  4. Managing specific client Environmental Stewardship Management Systems, from planning and forecasting to compliance reporting across provincial regulatory territories.
  5. Supporting ongoing program assessments and peer client site audits.
  6. Addressing all regulatory authority reporting, inquiries, and third-party audit requests.
  7. Ensuring quality assurance processes are completed and documented per company standards and client scope.
  8. Traveling to client sites for assessments and audits as required.

  1. Experience in business processes and accounting responsibilities.
  2. Minimum of an undergraduate degree or diploma in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  4. Results-oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
  5. Ability to prepare detailed, accurate, and timely working papers.
  6. Practical problem-solving skills.
  7. Desire and ability to contribute to technical delivery teams.
  8. Strong team collaboration skills.

Additional candidate qualities :

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge of MS Access is a plus.
  3. Ability to coordinate assessment and audit processes.
  4. Proactive, self-directed, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Understanding of the impact on client operations and finances.
  6. Enrollment in CPA program is an asset.
