A leading metals and mining company is seeking experienced Dewatering Mechanical Fitters for FIFO opportunities to their Pilbara WA mine sites. We are currently seeking applications from experienced Dewatering Mechanical Fitters for upcoming opportunities.

Location: Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites

Roster: 7D7N7R OR 7D7N14R

Key Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on the fleet of generators and diesel pumps
• Priorities and attend breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Inspection and maintenance of Multistage Bore Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, fire pumps and Isolation and controls valves

Qualifications and Experience

• Diesel trade background in either Light/ Heavy vehicle trade as majority of work is diesel powered gensets or pumps
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment as well as individually
• Strong organizational and communication skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrate strong safety values
• Experience with Fortescue’s computer-based systems (BMS, SAP)
• HR drivers’ license, forklift, CN, rigging or dogging tickets preferable
