A regional educational institution in Sturgeon Falls is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to provide support to the branch manager and various departments. Key responsibilities include preparing work orders and reports, maintaining filing systems, and organizing meetings. Candidates should have at least 2 years of administrative experience and be proficient in Microsoft 365. The role offers a flexible schedule and a supportive work environment.
$25-$27/hour
20 hours per week/On-Site/Between 8:00am-4:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the branch manager and staff
• Prepare work orders, estimates, reports, and customer communications
• Maintain filing systems, update policies/procedures, and manage office supplies
• Answer and direct phone calls, handle incoming/outgoing mail
• Greet visitors and provide professional front-line support
• Organize meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and meeting minutes
• Maintain inventory and receive parts when needed
• Perform other duties as needed
• Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is an asset
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and supporting a team
