Job summary

A construction company in West Nipissing is seeking a construction assistant to help with installing windows, doors, and siding, along with other related duties. The ideal candidate should have experience in the trade and must be able to work independently. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required. Competitive hourly wages are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenter in installing windows, doors, siding, and framing.
• Assist in renovation projects and new construction projects.
• Clean up the work site, unload and load materials.

Job description

·25-30$ / hour

·40-50 hours a week

·Assist carpenter, install windows, doors, siding, framing and any other related construction duties

·Assist in renovation projects and new construction projects

·Clean up work site, unload and load material

·Must have experience in the trade

·Must be able to work in a fast pace environment with limited supervision

·Punctual, reliable and responsible

·Must be able to handle heavy loads

·Must be able to read measuring tape and use power tools

·Working at height certificate an asset

·Must have driver’s license and access to a vehicle
