A leading college is seeking a Sales Clerk for their location in Noëlville. The role involves preparing orders, greeting customers, and maintaining inventory. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, although prior retail experience is not required as training will be provided. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
SALES CLERK
SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
-Preparing sales orders, deliveries and special orders for clients and contractors
-Greeting customers in a polite and professional manner
-Assisting in opening and closing procedures
-Assisting in weekly orders with several suppliers
-Inventory maintenance
– Assist with keeping the store organized and clean
-Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
-Retail experience: Not necessary, willing to train
-Time management and organizational skills
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Bilingual individuals will be considered an asset
-Ability to identify process inefficiencies and make suggestions.
-A meticulous work ethic and an ability to attend to detail.
-A positive and professional demeanor.
-Ability to stay focused on goals and objectives.
-Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
-Customer service oriented
-Experience/knowledge in hardware/ construction is an asset
