Experience working in the oilsands is an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned unit and perform various jobs as directed by the client.
Attend daily safety meetings and ensure tasks are completed safely.
Assist with swamping and staging of units.

Base pay range

CA$35.00/hr - CA$35.00/hr

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Labourers to join their safety conscious team at CNRL Albian! You will be responsible for operating the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as directed by the client.

This is a 362 Teamsters Union Position, field rate starting at $35.30/hour

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Attends daily safety meeting and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
Assist with swamping and staging of units;
Perform basic labour tasks using hand tools, but also operate power equipment (non-driver)
Performs pre and post trip inspections alongside operator;
Other duties as assigned by management.
Class 5 Driver’s License required.
Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
Experience working in the oilsands an asset
Experience working with pressure washing and steaming on Combo Vac Unit an asset
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period of time.
