Qualifications

  • Experience working in the oilsands is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned unit and perform various jobs as directed by the client.
  • Attend daily safety meetings and ensure tasks are completed safely.
  • Assist with swamping and staging of units.

Base pay range

CA$35.00/hr - CA$35.00/hr

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Labourers to join their safety conscious team at CNRL Albian! You will be responsible for operating the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as directed by the client.

This is a 362 Teamsters Union Position, field rate starting at $35.30/hour

  • Attends daily safety meeting and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Assist with swamping and staging of units;
  • Perform basic labour tasks using hand tools, but also operate power equipment (non-driver)
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections alongside operator;
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Class 5 Driver’s License required.
  • Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
  • Experience working in the oilsands an asset
  • Experience working with pressure washing and steaming on Combo Vac Unit an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period of time.
