Job description

Clean Harbors is seeking LOCAL Labourers within a 1-hour range from the city to join our team in Sudbury, ON.

This role involves safely performing labor tasks such as confined space entry, working in vessels or tanks, rigging, working at heights, high-pressure water blasting up to 40k PSI, and assisting with job site preparation.

• Shift rotation typically 7-7, subject to change.
• Operate equipment such as Wet Vac Straight Trucks and Steam Truck Straight Trucks.
• Perform basic laborer tasks, including using hand tools, assisting operators, and equipment operation.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections, risk assessments, and equipment setup.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Class G Driver's License required; a 5-year driver’s abstract with no more than 3 demerits may be requested.
• Previous site experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights performing labor-intensive tasks.
• Experience with Vacuum Trucks and high-pressure units is a plus.
• Safety tickets such as H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry are preferred.
• Complete a Common Safety Orientation prior to onboarding.
• Willing to work extended shifts of 10-14 hours.
• Flexible to work day or night shifts as needed.
