Team Lead – Environmental Services

Location: Kingston, ON

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Skyline Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading environmental consulting firm seeking a Team Lead – Environmental Services for their growing Kingston office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a senior-level professional to take on a leadership role managing environmental site assessment and remediation projects while mentoring junior staff and driving project success.

About the Role:

As Team Lead, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of environmental projects, including Phase I/II ESAs, remediation programs, and excess soils management. You will be responsible for managing project delivery, client relationships, and team development—all while ensuring high standards of technical quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site assessment, remediation, and excess soil projects
  • Oversee project planning, budgets, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario environmental regulations and industry best practices
  • Contribute to business development efforts and support proposal writing
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability within the team

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline
  • Licensed P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Ontario
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in environmental consulting
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario regulations (O. Reg. 153/04, O. Reg. 406/19, etc.)
  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Business development experience and ability to maintain strong client relationships
  • Valid G-Class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
