Job description

Millar Western Forest Products is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to take on the position of Environmental Supervisor at our Whitecourt, Alberta BCTMP Mill. In this key role, you will provide leadership and support to our dedicated Environmental team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in coordinating with external contractors and internal teams for trials, chemical initiatives, sludge management, and special projects. This position is responsible for maintaining environmental compliance for the mill to all regulatory bodies in addition to overseeing the Treatment System and Bio-Energy Plant.

The ideal candidate for the role of Environmental Supervisor at our Whitecourt, Alberta BCTMP Mill is an accomplished professional with post-secondary education in a related field. The candidate will have prior experience in a pulp mill or Industrial setting working in the Environmental regulatory and operational areas. Prior supervisory experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills will be considered assets.
