Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent, in-office position for an Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) Associate at Marinus Services ULC. In this role, you will support and strengthen our company’s Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance strategy, with a degree in Business, Environmental Sciences, Energy Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.

Using your knowledge of compliance, research skills and business acumen, you'll support Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance initiatives, ensure compliance, and research regulation. Additionally, you will prepare Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance reports, liaise with vendors, make ESG recommendations to company policies and assist with grant applications. Your work will contribute to the success and evaluation of impactful projects and programs.

What You Bring

  1. Self-starter with a passion for sustainability.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate or ESG-related environment preferred.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Energy Policy, Business, or a related field required.
  4. Proficient in ESG frameworks, policy interpretation, and process evaluation.
  5. Strong policy advisory, professional communication, analytical, and research skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  7. Positive attitude and dedication.

Physical Demands

  1. Ability to occasionally work overtime; weekends, holidays and nights, as necessary.
  2. Verbal and listening skills to understand English and work safely.
  3. Availability for a hybrid work schedule, including professional office and occasional remote settings.
  4. Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
  5. Ability to climb stairs, traverse uneven surfaces, and sit for extended periods.
  6. Capability to bend, reach, pull, push, and lift up to 45 pounds.
  7. Willingness to travel as required.
