As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our environmental initiatives across our operations, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Site Manager to oversee and lead our sustainability practices at our production sites.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with environmental legislation and industry standards while driving initiatives that promote sustainability and reduce our ecological footprint.
Shift & Hours of work: Monday to Friday, standard business hours- onsite
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Educated to degree level, or demonstrable equivalent experience, in a water, energy or environmental science discipline
Experienced using excel to analyse and report on data
Ability to coordinate environmental and sustainability projects which reduce on-site water use, waste, energy use, and carbon emissions
Ability to develop and engage staff to support delivery of on-site environmental and sustainability compliance and targets
Demonstrable experience in building networks to ensure high quality data reporting and to identify and share best practice.
Beneficial, but not essential - Good understanding of how management systems work, for example ISO 14001 environmental management system and ISO 50001 energy management system
