About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Facility Support Services, the Environmental Service Worker maintains a clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors.

The responsibilities include cleaning assigned units, patient rooms, and public areas, which involves mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing floors, moving furniture, and changing curtains and drapes.

The role requires adherence to our organizational principles, including our mission, vision, values, safety, quality, and collaboration standards.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent work experience
  • A commitment to safety, ethics, and organizational health
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Reliable transportation, as travel to other sites may be required
  • Experience operating equipment such as Taski spray buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and shampooers
  • Additional language skills, especially French, are an asset

Hours and Compensation
  • Part-time, permanent; 30 hours biweekly

Hourly rate: $19.26 - $20.02
