We are currently looking for a dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a casual position at the Valemount Community Health Center. This role involves performing various environmental services duties to maintain cleanliness and disinfected conditions throughout the facility, including patient/resident/client rooms, operating rooms, diagnostic areas, washrooms, corridors, lounges, offices, and common areas, in accordance with Northern Health policies.
Requirements include availability on short notice, up to 30 minutes prior to shifts. This is a very casual position, potentially for a few weeks or just one shift per month. Please note the geographic locations of applicants: Pg applicants are 3 hours away, Surrey 6.5 hours, and Prince Rupert 11 hours.
The center offers emergency medical care, lab services, seniors’ programs, addictions services, counseling, home and community care, and public health. Programs include prenatal care, immunizations, outpatient clinics with specialists, mental health services, and more.
