Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an Environmental Services Worker for a Relief PT role at the Ksyen Regional Hospital. The position supports a clean and disinfected environment across patient areas, operating rooms, diagnostics, and labs under the supervision of the Manager or designate.

Shift is Days, 07:30 to 15:30, with rotating days. You will perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain facility cleanliness and infection control per Northern Health policies and processes.

Qualifications

• Perform environmental services duties throughout the facility.
• Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in patient and staff areas.
• Follow Northern Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient/resident/client rooms, operating rooms, diagnostic imaging and laboratory, labour and delivery rooms, washrooms, corridors and common areas.
• Disinfect and maintain cleanliness of washrooms, lounges and offices as per policies.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.
