Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an Environmental Services Worker for a casual position at Bulkley Lodge in Smithers. The role involves cleaning and disinfection across patient areas, operating rooms, labs, and common spaces in accordance with NH policies.

Applicants should have Grade 10 or equivalent, and be able to communicate well, work with others, and operate related equipment. This position is based on-site within the Bulkley Lodge facility in Smithers.

Job description

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Bulkley Lodge.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.

Qualfications

• Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
