Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a casual Environmental Services Worker at Gateway Lodge. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, imaging and lab areas, delivery rooms, washrooms, corridors and lounges to high standards.

Under the supervision of the Manager or designate, you will perform a variety of environmental services duties across the facility in accordance with Northern Health policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in patient rooms, operating rooms, imaging and lab areas, and common spaces.
• Perform a variety of environmental services duties under supervision across the facility.

Job description

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Gateway Lodge.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.
