Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a Casual Cleaner at Campbell River Hospital to support patient and staff safety through high-quality cleaning. You will use a variety of equipment to perform light and heavy cleaning, make beds, and manage waste in accordance with established policies.

Grade 10 or equivalent, plus strong communication and teamwork skills, are required, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Description

Using a variety of specialized equipment, tools and machines, performs light and heavy cleaning duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, shampooing, washing, mopping, stripping, polishing and wiping; makes beds and empties garbage in accordance with established policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
