Job summary

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to join our Environmental Services team. You will help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment across patient care areas and other spaces, following specialized cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.

This temporary part-time role offers 8-hour shifts across days, evenings, nights, and weekends with pay of $27.771–$28.368 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties under supervision of the Manager, Food Services, Clinical Nutrition and Environmental Services.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain patient care areas and other hospital spaces.
• Carry out specialized cleaning procedures for designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties under the supervision of the Manager, Food Services, Clinical Nutrition and Environmental Services.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain patient care areas and other hospital spaces.
• Carry out specialized cleaning procedures required for designated specialty areas.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

Preferred

• Previous experience with Healthcare Cleaning procedures and protocols including PIDAC, and floor care
• Experience working with WHMIS controlledchemicals, knowledge of dilution rates, and usage of Personal Protective Equipment
• Professional cleaning experience
• Meditech Expanse
