Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Junior Environmental Scientist in our Regina office.

Responsibilities include the following:


  1. Participating actively in promoting a strong health and safety culture in the team.
  2. Communicating and coordinating with clients and contractors.
  3. Executing field programs, including collecting and analyzing field data from soil, surface and groundwater sampling, water supply well drilling, borehole logging, and hydraulic well tests.
  4. Evaluating data and technical reporting of:
    1. Groundwater monitoring;
    2. Aquifer testing;
    3. Soil sampling;
    4. Environmental Site Assessments.
  5. Supporting project managers, including proposal writing, scheduling, and project close-out.
  6. Supporting ongoing business development efforts, including preparation of work plans, scopes, and budgets.

Job Requirements


What you will bring:


  1. Undergraduate degree or applied technical diploma in environmental science, geology, physical geography, earth science, chemistry, water resources, or an equivalent area of practice.
  2. Relevant work experience in a related field; consulting experience is preferred.
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with technical and non-technical clients and contractors.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
  5. Experience working safely in remote areas and extreme environments and weather conditions.
  6. Familiarity with Saskatchewan regulations and guidelines.
  7. Eligibility to become registered with a professional association (e.g., P. Geo., P.Ag., PTech) is an asset.
