Environmental Scientist, EDR

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Scientist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Winnipeg Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Scientist at Pinchin:
  • Perform Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Conduct groundwater monitoring, sampling programs, surveying, and site plan creation
  • Monitor underground storage tank removal programs
  • Prepare technical reports and assist with recommendations
  • Collaborate with project coordinators/managers to ensure timely and within-budget project completion
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Liaise with site representatives and contractors
What You Bring to the Pinchin Team:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Environmental Sciences
  • 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills; problem-solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work-related travel expenses reimbursed)
  • Willingness to travel within Manitoba
  • Availability for occasional work outside regular hours (evenings and weekends)
  • Ability to use field tools such as pumps, hand augers, hammer drills, etc.
