Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Biologist Project Manager to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage environmental projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, conducting fieldwork, preparing reports, and providing expert guidance on environmental issues.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage multiple environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including ecological assessments, wildlife surveys, and habitat evaluations.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior biologists and environmental technicians.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental project management.
  • Professional designation (e.g., P.Biol., RPBio) is an asset.
  • Proven experience in conducting environmental assessments and fieldwork.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
