Overview

Jacobs is hiring Environmental Project Managers to join our team in Burnaby, BC. You will support infrastructure projects at all stages, from development to post-construction monitoring, providing leadership to our environmental planning and permitting teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive environmental impact through critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project objectives, budgets, schedules, and delivery within western Canada.
• Lead and motivate project teams, interact with clients, and mentor team members.
• Develop project strategies with senior technical staff and communicate effectively with clients.
• Support business development and expand client portfolio.
• Promote safety and our culture of caring on all projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in the natural resources sector in western Canada, preferably in consulting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, biology, geology, or related field.
• Strong time management, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
• Experience with renewable energy, transmission, and distribution projects.

Additional Information

Base salary range: $105,000 - $158,840, depending on experience and location. Jacobs values collaboration and offers a hybrid work policy combining office and remote work.
