As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role—overseeing complex projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to regional business development efforts. This position offers significant autonomy and influence within a supportive and collaborative organizational culture. You’ll work closely with clients in sectors such as oil and gas, mining, hydro and power, government, and Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and support their professional growth through mentorship and guidance.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with contractors, regulators, Indigenous partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying regional opportunities and supporting proposal development and RFP responses.
  • Uphold the firm’s strong industry reputation by ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on all projects.
  • Champion a positive and cooperative work culture across offices and project teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, ecology, agrology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing environmental projects, including budgeting, tracking, and scope management.
  • Strong understanding of provincial and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior professionals.
  • Skilled in business development, client engagement, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for producing clear and insightful reports and proposals.
  • Proficient with project management tools and adaptable to new systems and technologies.
  • A collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Professional designation (or eligibility) with a relevant governing body is preferred.
