A leading environmental services firm is seeking a Contaminated Sites Intermediate Environmental Scientist and Project Coordinator in Saskatoon. Responsibilities include coordinating field work, managing projects, preparing technical reports, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of site assessment experience, and is knowledgeable in health and safety regulations.
WSP has a new opportunity for a Contaminated Sites Intermediate Environmental Scientist and Project Coordinator to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Calgary. This opportunity will allow you to coordinate and conduct field work related to monitoring, investigating, remediating contaminated sites impacted by hydrocarbons (diesel, gasoline, crude oil etc.), fertilizers and metals, as well as prepare technical reports. It is expected that you are self-motivated and will demonstrate strong time management and communication skills.
Preference will be given to those individuals with more extensive experience with respect to soil and groundwater monitoring programs, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, site remediation, and provincial regulations.
