Project & Program Manager, Environmental Assessments and Remediation

Are you ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact on a high-profile national program? WSP is seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Remediation Program Management (RPM), Downstream team.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with project coordinators, project managers, project directors, technical leads, engineers, scientists, and technicians.
  • Develop technical service offers, work plans, and financial proposals.
  • Prepare tender documents ensuring they meet client expectations.
  • Interface with clients to meet their needs and measure project progress and quality.
  • Plan, manage, and control projects to achieve technical, financial, and administrative objectives.
  • Lead field staff, conduct site visits, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Mentor and train junior staff involved in projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management requirements.
  • Analyze data and review technical reports.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, geology, or environmental sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in contaminated site assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial regulations and best practices in environmental assessments and remediation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across Canada.
  • Responsibility and autonomy in work.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Fieldwork experience in environmental assessments/remediation.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to work sites.
