Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in electric transmission, renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Planning, Permitting, and Licensing Practice. This successful candidate is passionate about their work, driven by intellectual curiosity, and strives to work collectively to best serve our clients and help create the future of our communities in meaningful and sustainable ways. The Environmental Permitting Project Manager can report to the New Providence, NJ or Mount Laurel, NJ offices, the New York, New York office, or the Philadelphia, PA office (with the possibility to work from various locations within those states), and will support development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of key permitting programs to support quality and strategic growth plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
· Lead and participate in a wide variety of site-development, transportation, energy-related (electric transmission and renewable energy (wind/solar), climate adaptation and resiliency, and pipeline projects.
· Manage permitting projects at the federal, state, and local level with a strong track record of success.
· Prepare permit applications, scientific reports, and environmental impact statements.
· Effectively coordinate field work, direct and support other technical staff, interact with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, and manage budgets, invoicing, accounts receivable, schedules, and subcontractors, and support proposals and cost estimates.
· Direct experience with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), federal Clean Water Act and related permitting (Sections 404, 10, 408), federal or state Water Quality Certification, and other applicable New Jersey regulatory agencies.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
