Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an opening for seasoned and dynamic environmental manager. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and delivering complex infrastructure projects such as transportation, ports, and power-related (hydro, LNG) environmental planning projects in Western Canada, with experience in federal and provincial laws and regulations. Additionally, we are looking for someone with proven experience in Design-Build, Progressive Design Build and Alliance contract models. The person in this position will work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams comprised of internal peers, clients, and subconsultants.
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. This position will begin based out of our Burnaby, BC office, reporting to the Senior Environmental Manager.
You will be responsible for coordinating environmental permitting, reports, and technical documentation, as well as managing tasks and mentoring / leading junior staff and other team members in the delivery of environmental products.
Base Compensation : $110,000 / yr - $130,000 / yr
Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and / or location)
