Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager

ArtiFlex Manufacturing is seeking a strategic and hands-on EH&S leader to oversee and elevate environmental, health, and safety programs across our Michigan facilities. This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to drive a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

As the EH&S Manager, you will:

  • Provide direction, guidance, and technical expertise to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace across all Michigan locations
  • Lead cross-functional safety teams and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and job hazard analyses with a focus on proactive safety improvements
  • Oversee incident reporting and investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and timely corrective actions
  • Manage environmental compliance, including permits and regulatory reporting (air, storm water, hazardous waste, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver impactful safety training programs and promote return-to-work strategies
  • Act as a trusted partner to HR, leadership, and site teams to embed EH&S into daily operations


What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of EH&S leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA/MIOSHA and environmental regulations
  • Proven success in employee training, safety investigations, and compliance management
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and change leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Flexibility to support multiple shifts and travel (approx. 25%)
