To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System, supported by a talented technical team that has created a product with unique and valuable differentiators in the market. We have established connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and sharing our story.

As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and implementing an EHS program to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful work you will be a part of

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of all EHS policies and programs to align with corporate goals and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conducting EHS program audits, facility inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards in equipment and processes.
  • Participating in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and initiatives.
  • Assisting in occupational hygiene exposure assessments.
  • Developing and delivering safety training, including new hire orientation, PPE/RPE use, and safety device operation.
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments in field and office settings.
  • Participating in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Supporting manufacturing, training, and engineering teams with EHS-related inquiries.
  • Managing the repair, maintenance, calibration, and supplies of EHS equipment.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to complete and report on EHS projects.

What you bring to the team

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Hygiene, or a related engineering/science field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 or AS9100 standards is preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on EHS improvements.
  • Knowledge of OHS regulations and applicable standards (CSA, ANSI, NIOSH).
  • Project management skills are an asset.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Compensation

The listed salary range (CAD 60,000 – 80,000) includes base salary and a 5% RRSP contribution. Salary will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include stock options, medical and dental coverage from Day 1, work flexibility, personal days, family support, career development, and professional memberships.
