Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as a Manager, Plant Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of sustainability initiatives at the plant. This role involves developing, managing, and continuously improving the plant’s safety programs, environmental practices, and sustainability efforts in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. This position will report to the Plant Manager and is based at our Neapco Drivelines location in Belleville, Michigan. It is extremely important this team member is aligned with Neapco’s Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and , along with Neapco’s Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives. SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required, along with strong active listening skills. The position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports, financial reports, and legal documents. The ability to effectively respond to inquiries and complaints from customers, team members, regulatory agencies, executives, or members of the business community. Must have the ability to write presentations, internal communications, and process manuals and instructions that conform to prescribed styles and formats. Have the ability to effectively present information to all levels of business and external audiences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must be able to prepare budgets using Excel applications. Must be able to cost labor expenses.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of information and work and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
