Are you looking for relevant experience in your field? This is an ideal opportunity to gain practical experience as a Environmental, Health and Safety Administrator and build a career with Siemens Canada!

What will you do?

  • Maintain and update records of workplace incidents in a designated tracking system for accuracy
  • Assist with the upkeep of documentation on accreditation platforms such as ISN, SafeContractor, Avetta and others as required
  • Coordinate the collection of subcontractor pre-qualification packages
  • Upload and manage environmental, health, and safety (EHS) documentation within the EHS Insight platform
  • Support the preparation and organization of documentation for required audits
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Health and Safety team as required

What will you need to succeed?

  • Currently enrolled in university or college program in Health and Safety or a similar and relevant area of study.
  • Good communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Power BI is an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership or initiative at school, work and/or community (extra curricular activities)
  • Self-motivated and calm under pressure
  • Creative thinker with a unique ability for resourcefulness
  • Preferred: The successful candidate for this position must be bilingual. Fluency in French and English (verbal and written) is required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position for the following reason(s): The role requires regular interactions with Siemens colleagues based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally;

Compensation: $20.00-25.00
