What you can expect to do here :

Operate and maintain drilling equipment : Efficiently operate various drilling rigs and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Conduct soil, groundwater, and rock sampling : Perform accurate sampling procedures to gather data for environmental and geotechnical analysis.

Install monitoring wells and piezometers : Set up and install monitoring wells and piezometers to track groundwater levels and quality.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations : Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental guidelines to protect personnel and the environment.

Prepare and maintain accurate drilling logs and reports : Document drilling activities, sample collection, and site conditions in detailed logs and reports.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers : Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives and deadlines.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues : Identify and address any mechanical or operational issues with drilling equipment to minimize downtime.

Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment : Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

What you'll bring to WSP :

Experience : 3-5 years of experience in environmental or geotechnical drilling.

Certification : Class 3 Well Technician certification.

Technical Skills : Strong understanding of drilling techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to drilling operations.

Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and equipment issues.

Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report findings.

Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.

Driver's License : Valid driver's license required (A restricted or DZ license).
