Job summary

RWDI, a global climate and performance engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our Geoscience team in Windsor, Ontario. This permanent, full-time role focuses on field-based testing, groundwater and soil sampling, and environmental compliance activities.

You will work under experienced staff, travel across Southern Ontario, and support data management, reporting, and interpretation under regulatory frameworks. Evening/weekend work and driving are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in environmental science, engineering, or technology.
• 0 to 2 years of field program experience in Ontario.
• Experience with environmental data analysis tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Environmental and hydrogeological testing including aquifer characterization and sampling.
• Phased Environmental Site Assessments and remediation under supervision.
• Oversight of subcontractors and drillers; data management and reporting.
• Interpretation of regulations and communication with project managers.
