Environmental Field Supervisor (Drilling Waste)

Location: Southwestern Manitoba / Southeastern Saskatchewan (Preference: Virden, MB or Carnduff, SK)

About Us:
Keneco Environmental is a leading provider of environmental services to the upstream oil and gas industry across Western Canada. Since 1994, we’ve built a reputation for excellence in drilling waste management, reclamation, remediation, and environmental assessments. We are currently seeking a motivated Environmental Field Supervisor to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Negotiate land use and water source access agreements with landowners.
  • Conduct sampling and analysis of drilling waste.
  • Prepare reports and maintain detailed regulatory documentation.
  • Liaise with provincial regulators, clients, and landowners.
  • Oversee projects to ensure compliance with Saskatchewan and Manitoba drilling waste guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:

  • Minimum two-year diploma in Environmental Sciences or Engineering Technology (equivalent
    experience may be considered).
  • 1–2 years of experience in drilling waste management or upstream oil & gas projects (preferred but
    not required).

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
  • Understanding of Saskatchewan and/or Manitoba drilling waste regulations.
