Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or university degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting with hands-on fieldwork.
• Proficient with safe operation of light-duty trucks and a valid Class 5 license.
• Knowledge of provincial environmental regulations and site investigation guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform site investigations, remediation, and reclamation activities including borehole logging, soil sampling, and supervising third-party contractors in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct technical analyses including hydraulic conductivity testing and groundwater flow calculations, while preparing reports and managing groundwater monitoring programs.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers, landowners, stakeholders, and regulators to enhance project outcomes and facilitate effective collaboration.
• Crosstrain to adapt to seasonal demands and support other environmental projects as needed.
• Spend up to 80% of time in the field, actively involved in hands-on environmental work across various practice areas.
