We are looking for a motivated summer student for the position of Environmental Coordinator to support the deployment of our environmental processes following a major acquisition.

This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the integration of sustainable practices within our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation and monitoring of environmental initiatives.

The candidate may also be required to work as a coordinator on other company projects related to the deployment of advertising products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of environmental data, using statistical tools
  • Adapt and update environmental processes to integrate the new organization and resources
  • Update environmental reports to integrate data from the new organization: these reports cover areas such as: recycling, energy consumption, biodiversity, gas emissions, renewable energy, etc
  • Collaborate in the assessment of the environmental impacts of the company's activities
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvements to environmental processes
  • Support staff awareness and training on environmental issues
  • Collaborate with operations teams to integrate environmental best practices
  • Conduct research on new technologies and trends in sustainable development
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective actions
Essential Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in a college or university program in environment, environmental engineering, environmental science or a related field including project management
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in data collection and analysis
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluency in French and English essential, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of the principles of waste management, biodiversity, recycling and reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, an asset
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards, an asset

Additional Information:

For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
