A leading utility company is seeking an Environmental Analyst to manage their Environmental Management System and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves conducting audits, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience. Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Environment (the Director) the Environmental Analyst works closely with other members of the environmental division to administer NTPC’s Environmental Management System (EMS), regulatory, licencing, and overall environmental protection activities. In the course of their duties, the Environmental Analyst will coordinate external consultants, conduct environmental audits, coordinate fieldwork, supervise environmental projects and assist in other departmental functions including joint inspections, training presentations, safety reporting, environmental monitoring, developing management plans, public consultation, reporting, and technical documentation.

Salary for this position ranges from $52.18 / hr - $63.40 / hr, plus a location allowance of approximately $4,642 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health and dental benefits, long-term disability, life insurance, paid sick days and a defined benefits pension plan. This position is located in Yellowknife, NT. Relocation assistance may be provided.
