Job description

We have partnered with a leading Commercial Manufacturing client located in Farnham, QC who is seeking to hire an EHS Manager to join their team. This is an onsite, full-time permanent position that requires the candidate to be bi-lingual in both English and French. They are seeking a candidate who can establish and implement improvements to their already comprehensive EHS program to further promote the company’s goal of maintaining the highest safety standards.

The Role:

  1. Assisting and being the on-site lead for all EHS related activities.
  2. Conducting training, assessments, audits and all investigations.
  3. Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.
  4. Pursuing zero work related incidents/injuries/illnesses promoting a proactive behavioural based safety program.

The Candidate:

  1. 5+ years of experience working professionally in EHS.
  2. Must be fluent in French and English.
  3. Post-secondary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  4. Knowledge of regulatory reporting, air permitting, hazardous waste management.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communicator. Familiarity with all Microsoft Office programs.
