Job summary

Next Level Games is seeking an Environment Art Outsourcing Specialist to join our team in Vancouver. The role blends in-studio collaboration and remote work with a three-month in-studio start, then a hybrid pattern with three days per week in our Vancouver studio.

You will partner with senior leaders to ensure outsourced content aligns with our artistic vision, manage deliverables, and support asset integration while contributing to pipeline improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing outsourcing and/or co-dev teams.
  • Knowledge of 3D art pipelines and workflows.
  • Experience working with 3D software (Maya).
  • Include a link to your art portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Art Director, Outsourcing Lead, Lead Artists and Senior Manager to ensure outsourced content aligns with artistic vision, quality standards and timelines.
  • Support the internal art team to ensure outsourced assets meet quality standards.
  • Contribute to the project by working with the Presentation Team, supporting asset integration and workflow improvements.
  • Partner with art production to maintain, track and organize all outsourced content deliverables.

This is a hybrid role, with the first three months fully in‑studio. After that, there is flexibility to work from home, with a requirement of three days per week in our Vancouver studio.

The hiring range for this position is $92,000 to $115,000CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
