Responsibilities & Requirements

The Environmental Service Worker II position includes, but is not limited to:

• Following verbal and written safety guidelines
• Performing cleaning functions for designated areas
• Documenting daily assignments
• Adapting to schedule changes and staff shortages
• Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly
• Reporting equipment issues
• Engaging professionally with staff and patients
• Handling record keeping and equipment storage
• Managing regular and hazardous waste, including operating waste processing equipment
• Cleaning sterile areas such as operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRI
• Delivering supplies accurately
• Operating laundry equipment and changing curtains
• Performing various utility duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of housekeeping or service-related experience
• Floor care experience
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 10-25 lbs daily
• Strong customer service skills for staff and patients
• Knowledge of electronic devices (computers, tablets, etc.)
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Effective communication, attitude, and attendance

Preferred Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
