Job summary

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an Entry Level Route Driver Trainee in Delta, BC. You will start by learning our operations, policies and safety procedures, with the goal of progressing to a Route Driver handling hazardous waste between customer sites and disposal locations in compliance with TDG regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to learn safety policies, TDG rules and waste-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow routes and work in a physical, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow assigned delivery routes between sites.
• Safely transport regulated waste in compliance with Transport Canada and TDG.
• Assist with vehicle checks, housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with supervisors.
