Job summary

Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking Production Operatives to join our client's production team on the shop floor. You will operate machinery, conduct quality checks, and assemble components according to specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, a supportive environment, and opportunities for overtime as production targets are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a production or factory environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic understanding of health and safety in a workplace.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machinery safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks on products at various stages of production to ensure they meet required standards.
• Assemble components and finished products as per specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all housekeeping standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
