Entry Level Plaintiff A/B Legal Assistant(s)

Salary: Up to $50K

Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft and review outgoing correspondence and legal documents.
  2. Manage and maintain paper and electronic files and update legal information in the electronic database.
  3. Compile, organize, and review legal data and information for accuracy and completeness and detect and report issues.
  4. Notify appropriate parties regarding incoming correspondence and distribute memos to corresponding internal parties.
  5. Establish deadlines and priorities.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. 6 months to 1+ year(s) co-op experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury or Insurance Defence law is required.
  2. A Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma is a must.
  3. The ability to manage a large volume of documents and work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
