Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Outside Pest Control Sales Consultant, your main responsibility is to engage directly with homeowners at their doorstep , introducing them to our highly effective pest control solutions. Through these face-to-face interactions , you’ll educate families on how our services can improve their home’s safety, cleanliness, and overall value while giving them greater peace of mind.

Success in this role comes from quickly building rapport, earning trust, and clearly conveying our value—all within a brief, yet impactful, door-to-door interaction . Your determination, professionalism, and in-depth product knowledge will help you create and maintain a steady pipeline of potential customers, converting initial cold leads into long-term, loyal clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door prospecting to increase awareness of our affordable, high-quality pest control services.
  • Work around homeowners' schedules, focusing on afternoon and evening availability to maximize engagement.
  • Commit to a seasonal summer work schedule from May through September (or a comparable time frame).
  • Educate cold homeowner leads on the long-term benefits of professional pest control services.
  • Participate in daily sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring strong relationships through regular follow-ups.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Who We’re Looking For

  • No sales experience? No problem! While a background in sales is a plus, we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.
  • Perfect for entry-level candidates! Recent high school graduates and college students are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Must be resilient and adaptable, able to handle daily rejection while maintaining a professional, positive attitude knocking doors.
  • Full-time availability required (9-hour shifts) from April through September for the summer sales season.
  • Strong communication skills are a must; bilingual candidates are a plus!
  • Willingness to learn, follow scripts, and complete sales training to improve performance.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

  • Approximated seasonal / summer earnings : $50,000 - $65,000 (includes advances, commissions, performance bonuses, and profit-sharing).
  • Competitive, tiered commission structure with additional structured incentives for high performers.
