Entry Level Labourer

The location in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Entry Level Labourer. This job is full-time permanent.

This job posting is utilized to register with Paper Excellence Skookumchuck and submit a cover letter, resume, and copy of your high school transcript for consideration for entry-level labourers in our pulp mill. Hourly rate of pay will be per the 2021 - 2025 PPWC Local 15 Labour Agreement ($34.720/hour).

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Provide physically demanding labouring work in all areas of the mill, providing vacation and training relief.
• Work a shift rotation (days and nights).
• Duties and job requirements will include but are not restricted to:
• Operating mobile equipment for extended periods.
• Being on your feet for extended periods.
• Working in hot and noisy conditions.
• Having good visual perception.
• Being computer literate.
• Provide a copy of your Grade 12 transcripts from High School.
• Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Have demonstrated a capacity to learn.
• Possess a history of safe work performance.
